Progressive focuses on getting you back in business as quickly and easily as possible. We feature the following services to help you at the scene of an accident and throughout the entire claims process.

Concierge Level Claims Service

Just report a claim and schedule an appointment and drop off your car at one of our Service Centers and we take care of the rest - from writing estimates to arranging repairs with a body shop in our network of repair facilities. If you want to rent a car, we even have those on site. You're on your way in about 15 minutes.

Roadside Assistance

Consider adding Roadside Assistance to your policy in case your vehicle breaks down on the road. Roadside Assistance coverage will cover the cost of towing your vehicle to the nearest qualified repair facility. Roadside Assistance also covers labor, up to one hour, including:

  • Flat tire change
  • Battery jump-start
  • Emergency fuel and fluid delivery
  • Locksmithing

If you have Roadside Assistance coverage on your policy, the easiest way to use it is to call us at 1-800-776-2778. We'll send a service provider to you to get you up and running as soon as possible. Once the provider takes care of your car, you just sign the invoice and drive away. We pay the bill, and you pay nothing out of pocket (unless, of course, you request work that isn't related to the break down).

If you contacted and paid for a Roadside Assistance service provider on your own, please send your receipt/invoice to Progressive Roadside Assistance, PO Box 9147, Medford, Mass., 02155. You'll need to include your name, policy number, the year/make/model of the vehicle that was serviced and a return address. Once we verify your coverage is in order, we'll reimburse you for your expenses, as long as they're within coverage limits.

Rental Reimbursement

Rental Reimbursement provides rental vehicle coverage for a maximum of 30 days if you have a claim that is covered under Comprehensive or Collision coverage. Daily rental amounts are subject to the limit purchased. Available rental reimbursement limits vary based on the weight class of your vehicle.

Example:

If you purchase Rental Reimbursement for $30/day, you will be reimbursed up to $30 per day, up to 30 days, for rental charges you incur due to a claim covered by your Comprehensive or Collision coverage.

Immediate Response Vehicles

Immediate Response Vehicles (IRVs), the white SUVs with the Progressive logo on the side, transport our claims professionals wherever you need them: to repair shops, tow yards, your house or your work to help resolve your auto insurance or other claim quickly and accurately.

During the inspection, we’ll assess the damage to your vehicle and provide you with an estimate for repairs. Your representative will also answer any questions you have about your coverage, deductibles, and the next steps in our truck claims process.

Auto Repairs Made Easy

Shopping around for repair estimates can be frustrating and time consuming. If you choose to take advantage of our concierge level of claims service, we’ll take care of all the details. You simply drop your vehicle off at one of our Service Centers. Your representative can help you decide what is best for you.

At the Service Center, we’ll estimate damages and contact shops within our selective repair network to work out a price and schedule for the repairs. All of the shops within our repair network are required to adhere to our very strict Network Shop quality requirements.

After the repairs have been made, your vehicle is returned to the Service Center where the repairs are inspected for quality. If the repairs are up to our standards, we contact you to pick up your vehicle. A representative will be there to answer any questions you have. And then you’re done!

You can track your auto claim any time by calling your representative or you can track your claim online. Also, when you have repairs done through a Progressive Service Center, you’ll drive away with a limited lifetime warranty on the repairs for as long as you own the vehicle.
